Application: Recommended for fastening a single sheet of 1/2" drywall to steel or wood studs.

Using fine thread screws on steel studs is recommended to maintain optimal holding power (over course thread screws). Sharp point for easy installation and bugle head for self dimpling (dimpling necessary for finishing).1¼" Fine Thread Drywall Screws are recommended for steel or wood stud applications to fasten one layer of 1/2" drywall.
